Ties Institute for Career Training conducted its 16th Convocation Ceremony on the 4th of September 2021. A group of 54 students turned into Professionals and Entrepreneurs received their Certificates for completing their respective courses.
The occasion was graced by Mrs. Zelam Chaubal, Director, Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd, as the Chief Guest and presided by Ms. Naina Salve, Mr. Jayant Gogte, Directors of Ties Institute in the presence of Mr. Rohit Garud, Faculty Member and all beloved students.
The function started with the formal inauguration through the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. On behalf of everyone, Ms. Naina Salve offered a small handmade gift to our Chief Guest Zelam ma’am. The wall hanging made by our alumni Pauravi Supekar was praised a lot by Zelam ma’am, and she appreciated the handicraft and the entrepreneur skills.
The Key Note address was given by Mr. Jayant Gogte, in which he congratulated all students for completing their course and gave insightful future guidance. In his speech, he especially encouraged the students to stay positive in this stressful time for the entire World and the Tourism Industry and gave some excellent advice on how to survive these times and still make a career growth.
Students were eagerly waiting for Mrs. Zelam’s address, and it was very motivating. In her address, she spoke about what inspired her journey in the industry. She focused on the importance of taking initiative, that small action that makes you a leader. She told about the developments made in Kesari Tours under her guidance and leadership. She shared few memories about her childhood and everyone’s beloved Kesari Bhau. She made the students understand what leadership is all about – a small act that makes a big difference, makes you stand out of the crowd. She gave examples of Prime Minister Modi, Captain Chesley, President Barack Obama, Rosa Parks, Luis Urzúa, and many more.
She inspired the students to become the LEADER OF THEIR LIFE, to overcome their fears, and achieve their goals. An interesting experience about her doing one of the world’s highest Bungee Jumping in New Zealand at the age of 50 will motivate everyone forever. Zelam ma’am also gave a brief outlook about how the pandemic has affected us all. She shared her takeaways from the pandemic and told the students not to lose hope, never give up, and always stay positive.
Thereafter few students, Arti Bhawalkar, Shrusti Garud, Mukta Lanjekar, Sayali Jadhav, Vaishnavi Joshi, Mandar Zende, and Sayli Lonkar shared their experiences about their journey in the institute. They talked about how being in Ties Institute has helped them personally and professionally and changed their perspective towards this industry.
And finally, the moment every student was waiting for arrived!
CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION commenced from the batch of 2019-2020 followed by the batch of 2020-2021. Along with the student’s names, their accomplishments were also announced, and it gave a sense of joy and achievement to them.
Towards the end of the ceremony, a Vote of Thanks was presented by Mukta Lanjekar to our Hon’ble Chief Guest Mrs. Zelam Chaubal, for taking her precious time out and for inspiring all students. A special note of thanks was given to the Directors and Faculty Members for encouraging, guiding, and giving wings to explore opportunities in every aspect of the Tourism Industry.
As a surprise, a delicious cake was arranged by the students for celebrating Teacher’s Day. It was followed by group photos with the Chief Guest, Directors, and Faculty Members.
The Ceremony was concluded by a mouthwatering lunch and lots and lots of sweet memories. After all, throughout their journey at Ties Institute, all students became best friends and a big family. It was an opportunity for everyone to reunite and relive the memorable moments of the most exciting times spent together.
All students wholeheartedly participated in this function. The function was hosted by Sayali Jadhav, Vaishnavi Joshi, Mukta Lanjekar, Sayali Lonkar, and Tanvi Dive.
“Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny”.
This parting thought given by Zelam ma’am was etched on the minds of everyone on the day of this convocation ceremony.
